Generation M: Media in the Lives of 8-18 Year Olds

This came out in March 2005, but I missed it somehow. The Survey of media use amonsts 2000 3-12 graders reveals that over 83% of families own video game consoles; 24% report parents set rules abut time limits and 21% limit types of games.
